Human Rights for Choir and Orchestra

In 2023 human rights will be 75 years old. To celebrate this anniversary, the German composer Axel Christian Schullz has set the text of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to music for choir and orchestra.

The resulting work is called “Everyone”, a new, full-length choral-symphonic work, stirring, catchy and with an extraordinary text: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

75th anniversary in 2023

On December 10, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. For the 75th anniversary, the entire English text becomes the lyrics of a musical work for the first time.

In 2023, 75 choirs are to sing “Everyone” at 75 locations in 75 concerts — to celebrate the human rights that make the world a better place and to warn that human rights must always be fought for anew.
